Cybersmart

For our Cyber smart activity this week we had to make a slide showing three things that we did in lock down so these are my top 3 things I mostly did through Lock down hope you like it

STEAM,EGG DROP

In te kahu class we are learning about steam. steam stands for science technology Engineering art and maths. For this week's steam project we had to make a parachute with an egg attached to it and drop it off the school deck and see if it would break or not it went well but our egg didn't survive what didn't work out was the egg keep falling out of the parachute what I would change is to make the parachute more secure and I did for a while if my group.

My first week back

One thing I found hard was having to wake up early because online school I could sleep in.

I enjoyed seeing all my friends and playing sport for the first time.

Highlight of my week with be PE because I love sport.

One thing I achieve this week was completing my whole entire contract,

One thing I want to work on next week is my speech.

reflective symmetry

For our online learning this week we are learning about reflective symmetry our teacher gave us a slide that had different kinds of shapes on it, we had to insert a line and say how much lines of reflective symmetry is there.

In te kaku for Our Online maths this week we are learning Reflections for shapes our teacher give us a spreadsheet that had shapes on it that we had to show the reflection of each shape this is my spreadsheet.

For our Online maths this week we have been learning about directions if you don't know what directions are directions is just like what way your heading so these North south east and west are directions and we have also been learning about how to use a compass but for this week's create project we had to make a treasure map for our family to try with directions on it so for example move 10 steps North then 3 Northwest.

WALT read and locate coordinates on a cartesian plane. 

for Our Online Maths this week our teacher gave us a slide that had around 5 to 6 questions that we had to answer there was a game we had to play which was fun but got a little bit boring after a while playing it this is my slide hope you like it

we are learning how to advertise our teacher gave us this slide that had some videos on it that we had to write what we notice about the videos and then at the end we had to write who do you think the target audience is for these videos and what aforest techniques have they used to persuade their audience.

learning how to use a compass

For te kahu's Online Maths this week we were learning how to use a compass I'm not the best with compasses I kinda know how to use them but not that much our teacher gave us a slide that we had to make a copy of then fill in answers that she gave us some of them I had to research but some of them I kind of already new after learning about this I pretty much know how to use a compass now if I were to get lost in a forest and had a compass I think I would be able to get out.

For te kahu's online learning this week our teacher gave us a Google drawing with heaps of activities to do we have to pick two or more activities to do I picked the Got Talent one and the become your parent one this was fun but the become your parent one was a little bit hard this is my slide that also has the maths Whizz on it and my newspaper I did.
