W.A.L.T write our family in Maori 

In Te kahu we have been learning te reo. So for one of our activities we had to make a family tree and write what they are in Maori under it this is my tree it's pretty small because I don't really know much of my family!

Rabbit proof fence

In te kahu we had to watch a movie called the rabbit proof fence and then write how it would feel if we were in the movie. The movie was about 3 half-caste kids that got took away from their family. We had to write about how it would feel if we got took away from our families but it had to be what the kids went through in the movie.

W.A.L.T make our own biography. we had to make our own biography of a famous person in a treaty of waitangi I picked on a Hone Heke this is my one.

About me

Kia Ora my name is Mitchell I am currently a year 8 at Pompallier Catholic School I am in Te Kahu class. My favourite hobbies are motorbiking ,swimming at the beach, gaming, and going on my jet ski and I love the colour purple. 4 words to describes me is funny, gamer, Savage, and kind. Some of my strengths are sport and motorbiking. Also something I really want to work on this term is reading.

In Kakapo class we have been doing art for our cultural and art festival. We had to do a famous place in the far north. This is my one of the te Paki sand dunes. It was very hard to do but I still finished it in the end.
